Inspiration

I am inspired by her everyday climate activism.

There are so many different ways in which climate work can be done. No one person holds the only solution. When we see someone else living out their ideals, we can choose to be inspired and recommitted toward our own work.

We can also feel inspiration from the power, mystery and beauty of nature. If we are lucky, our own efforts can inspire others as well.

Question: What kind of things inspire you in relation to making the world better?

Action

Let an idea lead somewhere

When something inspires you, follow it. Try a project, make a video, volunteer, start a garden, design something, teach a friend, or look for a group already doing work you admire. Inspiration becomes powerful when you use it.

Where inspiration comes from

A person, place, idea, solution, or experience can make change suddenly feel possible. Inspiration gives us energy and imagination, helping us picture something better instead of focusing only on what is going wrong.

Learn

Borrow some momentum

Sometimes seeing what someone else is doing is enough to get started. Young people are finding creative ways to care for their communities and the planet, proving climate action can look different for everyone.
